Best Hotels:

Best Restaurants:

The Standard name pays tribute to the history of Art Deco building which Danish architect and Royal Building Inspector Kristoffer Nyrop Varming designed in 1937. The Standard has three restaurants and a jazz club. Almanak restaurant is an informal and friendly place to eat, serves lunch and dinner all week made all made freshly local produce.

Noma has enabled many other restaurants to step forward and offer local dishes. to make a reservation to Noma was not easy but don’t worry there a a lot of new places like Bo Bech’s Geist where there is no formality and apart from good food you can relax, unwind and savor the moment. Or Manfreds which is a small place and the guests are seated closely together. The intimacy is reflected in the servings that invite to sharing around the table, even if you are just two persons where the food  is served informally and arranged without frills. Instead they spent time in the kitchen, creating dishes in a playful and respectful attitude towards the seasonal produce. The steak tartar I ate here was the best I have ever had in my entire life.

American Matthew Orlando, the former chef at acclaimed Copenhagen-based restaurant Noma, is the owner and chef at Amass. At his own restaurant, Amass, guests can expect a more down-to-earth gourmet experience. At Amass, guests can expect to be served gourmet food of very high quality that can compete with some of the best restaurants, but at a better cost and with a more down to earth attitude to the gourmet experience

Pastis is a genuine French bistro in the heart of Copenhagen. They are the first restaurant to introduce ‘bistronomy’ in Copenhagen. The kitchen is authentically French, the wine card is unique and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. For best design collection your first stop has to be llums Bolighus. This four-floor homeware paradise is an essential visit for design lovers. It sits on the pedestrianized shopping route of Strøget and is very close of George Jenson and Royal Copenhagen. Under one illustrious roof you can view all the iconic Danish brands including the likes of Arne Jacobsen and Kay Bojesen. Royal Copenhagen’s Flagship Store on the main shopping street Strøget is three-storey Renaissance house dates back to 1616 and is one of Copenhagen’s oldest houses. Best Museums:

Designmuseum Danmark, or the Danish Museum of Art & Design is Denmarks largest museum for Danish and international design and a central exhibition forum for industrial design and applied arts in Scandinavia.ince 1926, Designmuseum Danmark has been housed in one of Copenhagen’s finest rococo buildings, the former King Frederik’s Hospital. This edifice was built during the reign of King Frederik V in the years 1752-57 to designs by the architects Nicolai Eigtved and Lauritz de Thurah.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is a must visit art museum located directly on the shore of the Øresund Sound in Humlebæk, north of Copenhagen. It is the most visited art museum in Denmark with an extensive permanent collection of modern and contemporary art. Besides the impressive permanent collection with over 3,000  works, the museum has 8-12 special exhibitions annually. In the late 1950sdiscreet modernism, the museum presents itself as a horizontal and understated building complex that fits into the landscape. You should walk in the Sculpture Park as an essential part of the Louisiana experience year round. This is where you meet panoramic views of the Sound and can really see how the buildings blend into the landscape.
