HOTEL & RESORT

Tierra Patagonia, Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

A spectacular hotel in Patagonia

On the shore of Lake Sarmiento, blending smoothly into the landscape, sits the extraordinary Tierra Patagonia. From its tranquil location just outside Torres del Paine National Park, the hotel  offers expansive views of the Paine Massif—perfect for sunrise and sunset.

The hotel has been designed to invite the landscape in while providing a luxury refuge from the elements, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the wonders of Chilean Patagonia.

The hotel was designed by renowned Chilean architect Cazú Zegers and associated architects Rodrigo Ferrer and Roberto Benavente. It was created to become one with the surrounding landscape, removing the boundaries between person and place. Constructed with sustainable lenga wood from local forests it forms a structure that seems to have been carved by the Patagonian winds, resembling an enormous prehistoric animal basking on the shores of the lake.

Uma Spa,is an oasis amid wild terrain. Towering windows surround the infinity-edge pool to capture panoramic views from day to night, accompanied by a sauna, steam room and open-air whirlpool tub for warm soaks and wildlife sightings.

The restaurant delivers a truly immersive dining experience, with sweeping windows on both sides showcasing an ever-changing backdrop of the whirlwind weather and wildlife at play.

Tierra Patagonia has 40 comfortable rooms that all have a view across Sarmiento Lake to The Torres del Paine. Designed with natural wood and earthy tones, the rooms create a cosy yet sophisticated retreat that feels deeply connected to the surrounding Patagonian landscape.
