The villas of AZULIK Tulum were designed to create an atmosphere for rest and reconnection.
Located right where the waves touch the coast, Sea Villas are the perfect spot to build intimate bonds with of nature. Their spectacular closeness and connection with the ocean make them one of the most iconic spots in AZULIK Tulum. Staying in one of the Sky Villas is an unforgettable experience. Standing gracefully on a cliff that faces the ocean of AZULIK Tulum, they were dreamed up for lovers of the sea who wish to contemplate its infinite beauty. The Aqua Villa is one of our most cherished habitable sculptures and an ode to tasteful design in harmony with the environment.
Azulik is home to a couple of excellent restaurants: Kin Toh and Tseen Ja, in particular, when I stayed. Kin Toh, famous for its Instagrammable nests floating above the jungle canopy, serves a delectable menu of Mayan-Mexican delights, from firewood braised lamb and Caribbean lobster to truffled Castilla pumpkin. Tseen Ja, which also boasts picture-perfect views, brings a Japanese twist.
Dining at Kin Toh and Tseen Ja comes at a price but book a place for drinks to watch the magical Mexican sunset over the trees. Breakfast offers tasteful simplicity, serving the likes of fresh juices, loaded smoothie bowls and egg-topped tortilla chips, using a medley of local ingredients and spices. There’s also Jungle Cuisine for lunch, the beach club, and a a mezcal degustation experience at Mantli.
With two exhibition spaces, SFER IK Museion is the premier destination for contemporary art in Tulum and Francisco Uh May comprising exhibitions, cutting-edge workshops and innovative artist residencies.
To stay in Azulik is a true experiece like no other… Highly recommended.
